I'll try to sum up the major events that have happened the best that I can.
Basically, since 2015...life went by in a flash. There were 5 of us and now 4. Then ever since, we try to live out the best of life as we can and could afford.... well my family can afford...HAHA
There's not much I can remember from 2016 but I was still in Singapore for most of it. In 2017, we went to Brunei early that year cause Kresta's trip was just way too short and we are a clingy bunch.
I then moved to The Philippines and took up a job in Inventory Control in a Cosmetics Company which I later switched up to Process Improvement in a different company, a construction one this time. Later that year my family and I went to Cebu Philippines for the first time ever.
Then I fell inlove with snorkling
2018 - we went to Japan, the visas were such a headache to process but the trip wouldnt have happened without my sisters
2019 - was Korea, unfortunately Karen wasnt able to join us even tho most of the funding was done by her. God Bless her kind soul. I still get annoyed with the person she had to deal with in processing her papers till this day but we still went through with it.
Then there was 2020. How do I put this.... a pandemic happened.
Well there was talk of the now typically known as Covid Virus spreading around in mainland China in the end of 2019.
It was initially referred to as the Wuhan Corona Virus where it started and it was fast and deadly.
The news of it spreading in Korea and Japan and other parts of Asia only started after we left Korea. We left right after Christmas Day, if I'm not mistaken.
Till this day theres no official statement of how the virus came about and its still quite unknown thus the trickiness to find a proper vaccine.
The media says it started in a market that sold wildlife to people. Highly mentioned that it probably came from bats and got transferred to humans somehow. I think the WHO (World Health Org) supports this information too.
But a part of me believes that that was just a disguise or to deflect information from what is happening between closed doors. The unknown people who run the world. I know it sounds corny but it's been almost a year and isnt it weird that if scientists really know the source, there's still trouble in finding the proper vaccine for it. They say it's not constructed in a lab and has traces to a zoonotic source. In my point of view, people have forged blood tests too, how is this so different.
The ever changing shape of the virus makes it hard for a typical person's immune system to create an antibody to prevent them from catching the virus again. Before I go on about going all Nikita and Umbrella Corp. on this post. Yeah a part of me believes the virus was created as a deadly weapon in a hidden lab.
There's been books of people mentioning the exact virus so detailed that they even mentioned how the media will even try to portray it and with the same time period too. Some have been silenced and theres not just one book, theres actually a few, check out "End of Days" by Sylvia Browne and "The Eyes of Darkness" by Dean Koontz which dated back in 1981. The accuracy is just so creepy.
So anyways, there wasnt a reported case yet in The Philippines in January this year, but Taal Volcano, near Tagaytay erupted actively and it was so continuous to the point it brought ashes to Manila. The experience was so weird cause we were just about to go to Tagaytay to prepare for a wedding the day it started. Noticed some black stuff piling up on the windshield and cars going the opposite way looked like, they went through ALOT with all that ash and dirt. We ended up going back and everything got cancelled.
February, papa turned 60 and a proud senior citizen. We spent his birthday in Solaire Hotel. It was amazing. I'll talk more about it later.
The pandemic struck Philippines really bad after, the total lockdown started in March 17 and there was silence, shortly the whole world was. Everyone was scared of the unknown deadly virus. Philippines then became the leading in Asia in the increasing infected rate per day then it got to the top 10 in the world but reports have changed ever since it became compulsory to wear both a face mask and a face shield.

So I've got a job, an official job that's quite close to what I've studied. Did I mention that I moved to The Philippines.
Well yeah that happened, this isn't my first job too. After graduation life didn't happen as planned, I didn't get into a company I've set for myself, there were problems with the processing of papers. That happened for several.. no not several, I mean numerous companies #problemsofbeingaforeigner. It just didn't work out for me working in Singapore. Oh yeah hashtags are now a thing.
When I did tho manage to get a job there, the boss was incredibly creepy or the work just felt so automated as in I felt like a robot.
So I quit then tried again but in the midst of that, priorities changed so I moved and here I am.
It's the last day of being 20, why did I just type 29 before erasing it HAHHA. Anyways, I wont be able to officially get away with documents that I've signed legally anymore. I have to start reading terms and conditions more carefully now (shrugs).
I'm really not ready to become an adult. I mean I've already experienced life crisis at the age of 18 but even getting out of that situation makes me still feel like I haven't done much with my life. Here I am, multi-tasking while watching the 2014 movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy". I mean I still watch Barbie movies from time to time. Why do I still do that?! Was I that deprived of my childhood?
I can't believe people in my batch are getting married or already makin babies. I don't wanna do that tho, I feel like there's so much more I want to in life. Am I aiming too high?... I know they say nothing is too high, I just have so many questions to my future self.
That feeling of wanting to do something but not knowing what it is, is really haunting me.
On the May 5th I have officially graduated. I am now an Alumni of Republic Polytechnic. I would say it is weird being unemployed right now. No classes, no clear objective for the day but I would say, graduation was fun while it lasted. My whole family came to support, a friend didn't wanna go for grad day cause "it was a waste of time" not for me though… so I got extra theater tickets for my family :D THANKS BUDDY!!!
So yeah oh and my sisters and I tried a different hotel… and I would say Hotel Jen Orchardgateway is awesome, I love the pool and I guess the fact that the shower, toilet and basin is not all in one room..it was pretty useful for us sisters so we could use it individually. They have the infinity pool too!! On the roof...Yeah so pretty legit. I would like to stay there again some other time.
Was able to bond with my sisters too… They couldn't stop treating me like a baby since I was the last one to graduate. It was fun though. Spent time family time with our parents too, went to Mandarin Orchard everyday which is where they stayed and I guess comments are ehhh…. its normal maybe since thats the typical place we usually stay in… and its starting to look old and used but its still pretty good for a hotel.
I really do miss the hotel life, 5th of May 2015 is definitely one of the moments that makes me wanna go back in time…if only I could.
I wasn't even ready for the shots!!…. I guess this is what you get from $3.50 by that photography service team.

It's been like almost a year since my last post?… I know I haven't been keeping up with what I've been saying that I'll try to update but that's life, its unfair. I've come to realize that a lot these past few months.
I have also realized that observing from my previous posts-ss-s. I've been only posting whenever I have exams not the glorious moments I've been having which is pretty unhealthy, I also need to remind myself of the great moments I should not forget. So I am here to summarize the big events I've gone through. Cause getting old, or whatever circumstances…people forget things.
So all the UTs (in short for Understanding Tests aka EXAMS) are all officially over, I've come down to my last semester. To complete the graduation criteria, Replublic Polytechnic students are required to pass and complete the Industry Immersion Programme usually known as "Attachment" or "Internship" or "On the Job Training", etc. depending on where you are. It was truly a great experience and it pretty much opened my eyes on how people are in the working world. I was placed in one of the leading logistics company in Singapore, I was pretty lucky and the staff are better, kinder than what I expected cause I've heard worse from my friends' companies for their internship. With me I had an intern buddy who went through A LOT of stuff to get it over with.
Yeah so I feel like for the next events, I'll place them in a new post cause I think it would be too long if I combined them all in one. For now, Tootles!!

AIGHHTTT, I'm done with two exams, today was my exam for Reliability Engineering and boyyyy that was intense!
Definitely not gonna have 100% for that but hope I got an A. I forgot to pay my school fees and I've been lazier and lazier in studying not a good sign so I guess Imma start studying for tomorrows exam!!
I'm the youngest girl in my family born on 1996, but not the shortest... Marcella is my confirmation name. A graduate of St. Margaret's School-batch of 2011(High School, Brunei). On the look-out for future ambition. Went beyond capabilities which brought me to study in Singapore, aiming for more to come.
